ASUS subsidiary AAEON has expanded its single-board computer (SBC) offering with a set of Intel Raptor Lake-based options. All sold under the banner of the PICO-RAP4, the new SBCs support multiple operating systems and contain numerous expansion options.

AAEON has introduced a new single-board computer (SBC) based around a 2.5-inch Pico-ITX form factor. For reference, the PICO-RAP4 is currently available in four variants through the company's eShop, starting with a Processor U300E variant that it has priced at $374. However, there are also three other Raptor Lake processor options to choose from, including the Core i7-1370PE.

As CNX Software notes, AAEON has priced the Core i7-1370PE variant at $1,085. Although that is mighty pricey for an SBC, Core i3-1320PE and Core i5-1340PE variants are also available for $590 and $700, respectively. Regardless of the processor chosen, all PICO-RAP4 boars measure 100 x 72 mm and weigh 80 g. Additionally, AAEON has included various ports and expansion options, evidence of which we have embedded below.

For instance, the PICO-RAP4 finds itself with an M.2 2280 slot for up to PCIe Gen4 x4 SSDs, as well as SATA III, mSATA and GPIO sockets. On top of that, the SBC supports Ubuntu 22.04 and Windows 10 64-bit. Please see AAEON's product page for more hardware and software details.
