Casio's upcoming G-Shock Gravitymaster looks ready for the cockpit
Casio is gearing up to expand its G-Shock Gravitymaster lineup with a new pilot watch that trades the usual resin strap for a rugged fabric alternative. The GWR-B3000SC-1A has surfaced at a Vietnamese retailer ahead of its expected December debut.

Last week, we reported that Casio was working on a new pilot watch for its G-Shock Gravitymaster lineup. While that initial leak offered plenty of details about the watch’s construction and design direction, there were no images to show what the rumored model would look like. That’s finally changing as the Gravitymaster GWR-B3000SC-1A has now shown up at Vietnamese retailer G-Shock Hai Phong ahead of its expected December launch.

The new listing offers us our first look at the upcoming pilot watch. At first glance, the watch looks very much like the recently launched GWR-B3000 series. But as you can see in the attached render, the new model trades the familiar resin strap for a dark grey fabric alternative.

The woven material is said to be made from a combination of Kevlar, nylon, and metal components and has a chunky, almost tactical look, with reinforced sections and visible stitching adding to the utilitarian feel. The listing also confirms a forged stainless-steel buckle.

The dial is busy, even by G-Shock standards. Luminous hour markers and broad hands sit against a black background, with three burgundy-toned subdials and a yellow Gravitymaster logo beneath the 12 o’clock marker, and a red central seconds hand adding some contrast.

A black outer ring is marked with city abbreviations for the world-time function, while a date display sits near 4:30. The overall effect is decidedly instrument-like, but the restrained color scheme keeps it from looking too loud.

G-Shock Hai Phong's listing identifies the watch as module 5756 and confirms Tough Solar charging, Bluetooth connectivity, Multiband 6 radio timekeeping, and Triple G Resist protection against shocks, centrifugal force, and vibration. It also gets 200-meter water resistance, sapphire crystal, world time across 38 time zones, and LED illumination. The case measures 56.7 x 47.3 x 14.1mm and weighs 104 grams.

The listing points to a December release, though Casio has yet to confirm anything officially. As for pricing, a previous leak from Great G-Shock World claimed that the watch would launch in Japan at ¥154,000 (around $977), which would make it one of the pricier models in the lineup.
