32-inch 4K 120 Hz professional OLED for $899: Asus ProArt PA329CDV goes on sale

The Asus ProArt PA329CDV was announced back in June, and the monitor is finally available in stores including Amazon at a recommended retail price of $899. Asus is thus offering the monitor at a surprisingly low price by ProArt standards.
The display is based on a 31.5-inch QD-OLED panel with a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels, or full 4K resolution. At 120 Hz, the refresh rate is only half that of most comparable OLED gaming monitors, but the display supports VRR and HDMI 2.1 for connecting a console, so it should also be suitable for occasional gaming. The monitor is factory-calibrated and is said to cover 99 percent of both the DCI-P3 and BT.2020 color spaces.
Asus advertises a full-screen SDR brightness of 300 nits and a peak HDR brightness of 1,000 nits. One special feature is Asus' use of a scratch-resistant anti-reflective coating designed to reduce reflections and prevent visible scratches. Official macOS support is not a given for Asus ProArt monitors – the DisplayWidget Center app even allows the keys on an Apple keyboard to be used to adjust the brightness of the ProArt PA329CDV.
In addition to HDMI 2.1, there are also two DisplayPort 1.4 ports and USB-C, with the USB-C port able to charge laptops at up to 96 watts and connect them to a USB hub with three USB-A ports and one USB-C port. An integrated KVM switch, a height-adjustable stand and HDR10 support round out the features. Further details about the monitor can be found on the Asus website.
