Deal | Sleek-looking Razer Blade 17 with capable gaming specs gets a heavy 50% discount

Razer has yet to update the Blade 17, but the 2022 gaming laptop still packs a punch. That holds very true if you consider the better-equipped configurations, such as the one with RTX 3070 Ti. But, yes, at its regular price tag of $3,199.99, there are definitely better options out there.

However, things change a bit when you consider this sale that the company is currently holding. The Razer Blade 17 with Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti, Intel Core i7-12800H, and an FHD display with a 360 Hz refresh rate has been slashed by 50%. This massive discount brings the current price of the gaming laptop down to $1,599.99.

We gave the gaming laptop a very respectable score of 90% when we reviewed it. In our review, we noted that the Blade 17 stands as a good choice for both productivity and gaming. As for productivity, the large 17.3-inch display makes content creation a breeze.

Now, while our review unit came with a different panel, the FHD display of the laptop that’s on sale seems good too. It has 100% sRGB coverage, factory calibration, a 3 ms response rate, and, most importantly, a 360 Hz refresh rate.

Regarding gaming, with Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti, the Razer Blade 17 still has what it takes to smoothly run almost all modern games at high to ultra settings. Also, as we’ve noticed in our review, this particular model of the laptop is noticeably less power-hungry than the one that comes with RTX 3080 Ti. That means you can expect a decent battery life.

Other aspects that we liked about the gaming laptop include the 1080p webcam, reasonably portable power adapter, and relatively quieter performance under load.
