A Twitter-based leaker claims that Samsung has a new, AirPower-like wireless charger in the works. This pad is apparently thinner than its closest pre-existing counterpart, thanks to slimmer coil and thermal-management technology. The putative accessory is touted to power compatible devices at up to 25W.

Samsung's Wireless Charger Trio may have been released as an answer to the AirPower concept, in that it is a pad with multiple coils that might support less selective, precise placement of more than 1 mobile device (or accessory, such as a Galaxy Buds case) at a time. Now, a leaker called @chunvn8888 on Twitter asserts that the OEM has a new, improved copy of Apple's benighted prototype in the works.

This device might have a similar surface area to the Wireless Charger Trio; however, it is also now touted to be "slightly thinner" thanks to its upgraded innards. These, apparently, include new copper coils and heat-sink, which might form a "sandwich" made with "graphite and thermal paste", with perhaps even some small fans thrown in.

This new generation of Samsung wireless charger is slated for an output of up to 25W, same as the Wireless Charger Trio (in theory, at least). Then again, it will allegedly not ship until 2022 at the earliest.
