Samsung Galaxy Watch Active now official in Vietnam, sales starting this week
The successor to the Samsung Galaxy Watch, namely the Galaxy Watch Active, was unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked event that took place in San Francisco on February 20. Now, the time has finally arrived for this smart wearable to hit the market and it looks like Vietnam is one of the first markets to receive it.
According to SamMobile, Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy Watch Active in Vietnam and local sales will begin the day after tomorrow. In terms of specs, those who missed February's event should know the following: dual-core Exynos 9110 processor clocked at 1.15 GHz, 1.5 GB of memory, 8 GB of internal storage space, 1.1-inch Super AMOLED circular display, 230 mAh battery for a full day of normal usage, as well as a design rated IP68 and 5 ATM for dust and water resistance.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active can track no less than 39 different activities, such as running, cycling, swimming, and sleep cycles, but it can also send alerts if it detects an abnormally high resting heart rate.
Vietnamese customers can get this Tizen OS-driven wearable in pink, black, and silver for the equivalent of US$237. US customers can choose their color and other options before placing their order by going to this page. For them, it seems that shipments will begin on April 26. Those living in other areas should check the Galaxy Watch Active page on their local Samsung website for ordering or at least for obtaining information about the arrival of this smart wearable in their neighborhood.
