Samsung Galaxy S24 FE: Larger than usual screen size hinted at by new rumour
Previous reports indicated Samsung planned to launch the Galaxy S24 FE earlier than usual, hinting it might be launched (or at least announced) at the company's rumoured mid-July Galaxy Unpacked event alongside new foldable smartphones and tablets This time, it could also feature a bigger screen.
A new rumour from Weibo (via @negativeonehero on X) says the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE has a 6.7-inch screen. Both the Galaxy S23 FE and Galaxy S21 FE launched with a smaller 6.4-inch panel, making the Galaxy S24 FE the heftiest of its kind. The last Samsung phones with a 6.7-inch screen were 2020's Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note 10 Lite, which many would consider to be the spiritual predecessors of the Galaxy FE lineup.
Other Galaxy S24 FE specs remain unknown, but it would be reasonable to assume it will launch with an FHD+ 120 Hz AMOLED panel, minus the Galaxy S24 (curr. $784 on Amazon) series' bells and. A corresponding increase in battery size will be necessary to power the larger screen. Like its antecedent, the Galaxy S24 FE will be offered in Exynos and Snapdragon flavours.
