The Samsung Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ are now official and boast quite the feature set. We've known about most of these features thanks to the bevy of rumors and leaks that have been floating around the Internet for months, but the devices look to be respectable upgrades over the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. Both phones feature triple-camera setups, in-display fingerprint sensor, and reverse wireless charging, among others. However, the phones come with a hefty price tag, starting at $900 and $1000, respectively.

After months of rumors, leaks, and speculation, Samsung officially unveiled the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 Plus (styled S10+) earlier today. Thanks to the copious leaks surrounding the device, there’s not much we didn’t already know.

Here are the official specifications:

The designs of the new phones are similar to their respective 2018 counterparts, save for the exclusion of a visible fingerprint reader, and arrangement of the rear camera array, and the new “hole-punch” front-facing cameras.

The fingerprint reader is now an in-screen “ultrasonic” sensor embedded into the display underneath the front glass, similar to solutions we’ve seen in the OnePlus 6T. There are now three rear-facing cameras (specification listed above) in a horizontal line. The standard Galaxy S10 has one front-facing camera, while the Galaxy S10+ has two. Both phones show off Samsung’s new “hole-punch” front display that embeds the selfie shooters into the front panel rather than a notch.

In typical Samsung fashion, both phones are chock-full of features. Both phones feature “Dynamic AMOLED” displays, which essentially means they are HDR10+-certified. Both phones also have Samsung’s new Wireless PowerShare, which allows the handsets to act like a Qi-compliant wireless charging pad for other devices. We’ve seen similar functionality in some Huawei handsets; it’ll be interesting to see if Samsung’s implementation works any better than its rival’s. And yes, Bixby is here as well. Both devices will run Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. There are a ton of other features about which the S10 and S10+ can boast, all of which are detailed in Samsung’s press release.

The Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ will come with a cost, though; the phones will be available March 8th starting at US $900 and $1000, respectively. Pre-orders will open February 21st. Those that pre-order will receive a free pair of Samsung’s fully-wireless Galaxy Buds.
