Anbernic has not officially released the RG35XX SP yet. Nonetheless, the company has now confirmed all key device specifications, which the RG35XX SP shares with the likes of the RG35XX Plus and RG35XX H.

Anbernic has now confirmed all key specifications for the RG35XX SP, its latest 3.5-inch gaming handheld, after releasing the RG35XX 2024 (curr. $69.99 on Amazon) earlier this year. For reference, the company initially revealed the RG35XX SP earlier this month, details of which we have covered separately.

As expected, the RG35XX SP utilises the same Allwinner H700 chipset as its RG35XX Plus and RG35XX H siblings. Additionally, the clamshell gaming handheld features 1 GB of LPDDR4 RAM, a 3,300 mAh battery that Anbernic rates for up to 8 hours of usage and a 3.5-inch IPS display that outputs at 640 x 480 pixels. Moreover, the RG35XX SP supports Bluetooth and WiFi (802.11 ac) connectivity for multiplayer gameplay, among other uses.

Furthermore, Anbernic includes two microSD card readers and an HDMI port for connecting the RG35XX SP to an external monitor. Anbernic adds that it has integrated a magnetic lid sensor, too. As a result, the RG35XX SP should put itself to sleep automatically when it senses its lid has been shut. Unfortunately, Anbernic has not confirmed pricing or availability yet. However, we imagine that it will do so within the next few days.
