Philips Hue Perifo smart track lighting accessory now available

Philips Hue is now selling the Perifo Flexible connector in the US following a European launch earlier this year. Designed for the Perifo track lighting range, the accessory allows you to join tracks at any angle; previously, there were only 90° and 180° options based on the limited product range.

The Philips Hue Perifo Flexible connectors have been launched in the US. The smart lighting accessories were announced earlier this year and went on sale in Europe in February. Perifo is the brand’s track lighting range, featuring various rails and lights like the White and color ambiance Perifo cylinder spotlight.

Previously, Perifo customers were restricted to straight-lined designs using straight and corner or L-shaped connectors. The new Perifo Flexible connector, offered in black and white, can connect two rails with a bend, allowing for a broader range of shapes. The accessory can also be used to join tracks mounted on the wall and ceiling at any angle. The connector adds up to 3.5 cm (~1.4 inches) to the track length.

The Philips Hue Perifo Flexible connector is now on sale in the US for $34.99 and sells in Europe for €34.99/£29.99. Another new accessory in the Philips Hue Perifo range is the T connector, which connects three rails. While this is listed on US, EU and UK websites, it has yet to go on sale; the product is listed as “coming soon” and could launch later in April. The Perifo T connector is expected to retail for $34.99/€39.99/£34.99 when it launches.
