New TCL Q10K 4K Mini LED TV launches as mid-range model
The TCL Q10K 4K Mini LED TV is now available to order in China from retailers like JD.com. The model launched alongside the flagship Q10K Pro series as a more affordable TV. Like the Pro, the Q10K is offered in four sizes from 65” to 98”.
The Q10K TVs have a lower number of backlight partitions than the Q10K Pro equivalents; for example, the 65” Q10K has 1,512 while the Pro has 3,204. The standard model also has around 30% lower peak brightness compared to the Pro, with a maximum 3,500 nits for the 65” variant, and 3,800 nits for the other devices. Otherwise, the TVs are the same, with a native 144Hz refresh rate and a 240z motion rate. The TCL models covers 98% of the DCI-P3 color space and support technologies like Dolby Vision, HDR10, HLG and IMAX Enhanced. There are also features for gaming, with four HDMI 2.1 ports with 1.5ms latency and compatibility with Dolby Vision Gaming and AMD FreeSync. On top of that, the TV has a built-in 90W 2.1.2 channel sound system, supporting Dolby Atmos.
The TCL Q10K 4K Mini LED TV series can now be pre-ordered in China, with the 65”, 75”, 85” and 98” versions costing 6,499 yuan (~$900), 8,499 yuan (~$1,175), 10,999 yuan (~$1,520), and 19,999 yuan (~$2,760), respectively. It remains to be seen whether the product will go on sale in other countries. Customers in the US can already TCL 4K Mini LED TVs like the QM8. In other news, TCL also recently announced the T7K 4K Mini LED TV series in China.
