Google Pixel 8a outed in the flesh ahead of imminent I/O debut
Google looks set to debut the Pixel 8a next month at its I/O event. Following a strong history of Google devices leaking in the flesh well before their debuts, the Pixel 8a has now also surfaced in a hands-on video.
Courtesy of a video shared on Instagram by Moroccan phone shop gsm_islame, the Pixel 8a can be seen being handled in two color options: Blue and Green, already leaked to be branded as the "Bay" and "Mint" colorways respectively. While the video doesn't have any of the units turned on, its caption seemingly confirms 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage onboard.
The video also confirms the box content for the Pixel 8a: the device itself, a SIM tool, Google's Quick Switch adapter, and a USB-C cable. As with all Google smartphones since the Pixel 6, a charging brick is absent. Lastly, the video caption claims the 8/128 GB model of the Pixel 8a will be priced at 4,750 MAD, which converts into around US$470. That may be a sign that the Pixel 8a will not be priced higher than the Pixel 7a (buy on Amazon) after all.
