Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 available on Xbox Game Pass starting July 24

For the first time ever, a Call of Duty game will be available to play on the game pass. CoD: Modern Warfare 3 will be downloadable for Xbox Game Pass owners starting July 24. Microsoft added a blog post to its website to confirm the official launch. 

This hasn't been a secret, though, the cat has been out of the bag for a while now. There were rumors surrounding 2 new game titles becoming playable for Xbox Game Pass players - CoD: MW3 and the viral Dave the Diver game. With this reveal, there is more concrete evidence to support the claim that Dave the Diver may very well be on its way. The indie game received rave reviews at launch - 5/5 on Eurogamer, 90% on Metacritic and overwhelmingly positive 10/10 Steam reviews. Considering the praise it has received, this game might be an interesting one to look out for. 

Released in November 2023, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is the latest installment in the rebooted Modern Warfare sub-series. Developed by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision, the game picks up the narrative directly following the events of Modern Warfare 2 from the year before. Modern Warfare 3 offers various game modes, including a story-driven campaign, a competitive multiplayer mode featuring classic game types like Team Deathmatch and Domination, an open-world zombie mode and a co-op mode for players to tackle objectives together.
