Shortly after unveiling the Intel ARC A750 OC, Biostar returns with a new video card, namely the Intel ARC A380 ST. This affordable solution sports a 96-bit memory interface alongside 6 GB of GDDR6, a GPU speed of 2000 MHz, and a board power of just 75 W. No less than three DP 2.0 ports and a single HDMI 2.0 port are also present.

Although the official description reading "the pinnacle of performance and efficiency in the world of digital entertainment and casual gaming" might be a bit over-the-top, the new Biostar Intel ARC A380 ST is a video card worth considering when building a low-price desktop PC with a focus on multiple outputs and power efficiency, as it has a total board power of 75 W, so there is no need for any additional connectors.

This new video card sports 6 GB of GDDR6 memory clocked at 15.5 Gbps, a 96-bit interface, and a bandwidth of 186 GBps. The Intel ARC A380 GPU is clocked at 2000 MHz, and its temperature is kept in check using a single-fan design. The list of outputs available is quite generous for a budget board, including a DP 2.0 trio alongside a single HDMI 2.0 port. The maximum resolution supported is 7680 x 4320 pixels, in which case the refresh is limited to 60 Hz.

Although availability and pricing are not public yet, the MSRP of this card is $139, and since this is not an overclocked edition, it will probably go for about the same amount or even less. Those in a hurry to get a card based on this chipset can currently grab the ASRock Intel ARC A380 Challenger ITX 6GB OC off Amazon for just $109.99 instead of $119.99, thanks to a 9% discount.
