Apple's latest release event debuted Arcade, a new elaboration on the App Store's gaming experience. The company claims that over 100 new and original games have been developed for this new subscription-based service. It is also ad-free and allows offline play.

Apple asserts that its mobile gaming experience is the best in the industry. It reportedly has over 1 billion users on its App Store who download and play its games. At the company's latest launch, which took place today (March 25, 2019), it announced details on its latest service, Arcade.

This is a new kind of subscription-based service which allows its users access to "new and original" games developed by or in partnership with Apple. It has set up a number of collaboration with various studios and companies to develop these new titles, including Sega, Disney and Konami.

Apple Arcade will not be marred by ads, tracking or any additional microtransactions. Unlike games on the App Store, they will be multi-platform titles that the user could play either on a bus or in their TV room. This innovative new app will be available in the autumn of 2019, and will be accessible in approximately 150 countries worldwide.
