Amazon reveals new free games for May 2024: Tomb Raider GOTY, Fallout 3 GOTY, and more

Amazon has revealed the list of games that will be free to claim through Prime Gaming. To fill you in, Prime Gaming is included with Amazon Prime membership, which offers exclusive discounts, free delivery, free games, and more. Each month, these members get to claim a fresh lineup of titles, and for May, there are many popular games lined up.

One of the highlights is Tomb Raider Game of the Year (GOTY) Edition, which has the Tomb Raider 2013 along with numerous DLCs. As it's a relatively old game, it should run fine on most PCs, including mid-range gaming handhelds (Asus ROG Ally Z1 curr. $399.99 on Best Buy). That said, the GOTY bundle generally goes for $43.84 on Steam (US region), but you can grab it for free from Amazon Prime Gaming right now.

Two more popular games that you can currently score for free on Amazon Prime Gaming are Lego Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars and Chivalry 2. The regular prices for these two titles are $19.99 and $39.99, respectively, on Steam. But the May free game lineup doesn't end here.

Prime members can get another popular game, Fallout 3 GOTY Edition, for free on May 9. This title has a "very positive" overall rating on Steam, and the GOTY bundle generally goes for $19.99. Amazon will also be giving away Dark City: International Intrigue, Nine Witches: Family Disruption, and Electrician Simulator on May 9.
