Aggressive Model 3 Ludicrous front and back designs appears without camo
Tesla is preparing to release the successor of its 510HP Model 3 Performance, replacing it with a 600HP Ludicrous version. It has a new, more powerful motor, and "a few things we left on the table," as a Tesla rep put it, referring to all the features and functions that didn't make it in the original Model 3 Performance since Tesla was in Elon Musk's infamous "production hell" mode of ramping up manufacturing.
That's under the proverbial hood, but the design has also been updated with a more aggressive styling, both front and back, as can be seen from the spy shots of the Model 3 Ludicrous that just popped up.
This time without a test mule camouflage, the new Model 3 Ludicrous front "lip" can be seen more clearly, and that is perhaps the biggest visual difference with its current Highland siblings. The cleaner, more streamlined front and rear are joined by a lowered suspension that, according to the recently leaked interface, should come with adaptive dampening, but no air tank.
On the inside, the Model 3 Performance successor is expected to land with bucket seats and carbon dash to solidify its racy pedigree, and it remains to be seen what the Insane Acceleration mode that was visible in the interface would bring.
Tesla will reportedly be releasing the 2024 Model 3 Ludicrous in May at a rumored price of about $55,000, and that's when it will confirm the exact power and acceleration specs.
