AOHI presents its latest accessory as the ideal way to charge a MacBook Pro by up to 56% in 30 minutes on a budget. Its Advanced GaN (or gallium nitride) tech is connected to triple ports, one of which is rated for 140W of power delivery via PD 3.1 USB-C. It might be able to beat other newly-released rivals on price, if not in other ways.

AOHI has unveiled The Youth as a budget version of its original MagCube 140W power brick, as only 1 of the newer accessory's USB-C port is rated for that top charging rate as opposed to both on the older.

The Youth charger also has a single USB type-A port as a back-up - as does the new UGREEN Nexode X 160W, although the latter has a total of 3 type-C ports compared to the AOHI brick's 2.

Then again, the Nexode X' new yellow rival is also backed to be up to 30% more compact than other chargers with its specs, its own predecessor included.

Nevertheless, it is backed to pack the gallium nitride (GaN) and AOHICE safety tech necessary to charge a laptop - or maybe 2 at the same time, even, so long as they are both rated for the 65W standard they drop to when used at once.

AOHI's The Youth has been released at an introductory price of $69.99, whereas the Nexode X 160W (so called because that is the absolute most it can draw on top of the maximum 140W spec of its fastest USB-C port) is discounted to $85.99 on Amazon at the moment.
